Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Club House Gravy Package Mix
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 Cups McCain Shoestring Fries
  • 5 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Feta cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 chicken finger chopped
  • 1 tsp Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Butter about 1/2 tbsp
  • 1/2 Cup Water for the gravy
  • 1/2 Avocado sliced (optional, for serving)

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer Oven (preheated at 405 degrees)
  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Spoon

Method

  1. Slice the onion and mushrooms, then sauté both together in a small saucepan until softened. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss the frozen shoestring fries with about 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil, then season with garlic powder, Cajun spice, and salt.
  3. Spread the fries on the air fryer rack and cook on the fry setting for 10 minutes.
  4. While the fries cook, halve the cherry tomatoes and set aside.
  5. In the same saucepan used for the onion and mushrooms, melt about 1/2 tbsp butter. Add roughly 1 tbsp of the Club House gravy powder (adjust to taste — you don't need the whole package for one serving).
  6. Whisk in a little water at a time, gradually adding more until the gravy reaches your desired consistency — thicker or thinner, your call.
  7. Stir half of the sautéed onion and mushroom mixture into the gravy. Keep the rest aside for topping.
  8. By now the fries should be done — pull them from the air fryer and plate them.
  9. Pour the gravy (with the onion and mushroom mixed in) over the fries.
  10. Immediately top with the mozzarella cheese so it melts slightly from the heat, then add the feta on top.
  11. Add about 1 tbsp of sour cream.
  12. Finish with the cherry tomatoes, chopped chicken finger, and the remaining sautéed onion and mushroom on the side.
  13. Serve with avocado slices on the side, if using. Enjoy!
